Page 1 of 8 - 2006  August 12th 2006 saw the Super 66'ers gathered at the Island Bowls Club in Mount Isa for the 40 Year Reunion. Those that could attend, had a great night and followed it up with a Recovery Breakfast next morning at the same venue. Thanks go to Andrew and Lesley Mitchelson for organizing the event and Bob Morgan of the Island Bowls Club for his assistance. About 50 people attended the dinner on the saturday night and about 70 fronted the next morning for brekky. Mick Bakhash was MC for the evening and was assisted by Mick Dorward in the Roll Call. For DOK's benefit, we are pleased to report that Gibbo hasn't changed one bit. He tells us proudly that he failed the "Shrink's" test when he applied for his Returned Serviceman's Benefits Card. He had no trouble getting it at the first application where it takes most people many goes. An executive decision was made and Tom & Helen Tartellin have been nominated to organize the next reunion in Townsville. Legends in the making . . . . .
